Class Schedule while I'm away.
Classes will be run on a slightly reduced basis while I'm away. Unfortunately, there are not enough people to teach the classes during that time because all the black belts will be away too. So, the schedule is as follows.
Note that there will be NO CLASSES AT NEWTOWN until the 11th of May
The following is the Petersham Schedule. Note that this includes classes on ANZAC day, which I previously indicated would not have a class.

Interclub Kata
May 29th
Time to brush up your kata! It's not long off, and everyone should be working out which kata they're going to do for the event, and practicing with your team to get your synchronisation right! Kata is one of the things that differentiates karate from most other martial arts, and it probably harder to do well than sparring, because it's YOU alone up in front of the judges. Talk about a confidence building exercise!

Junior Grading
June 12th
We've just had a junior grading, but no reason why you shouldn't be preparing for the next one, especially if you missed the last one. All the more reason to start working on this one!
Interclub Contact
August 7th
It's time to start training for Contact. If you haven't done it yet, it's a good opportunity to get started relatively easily, since you're not going to a big tournament. And it's good preparation for our big one at the 13th Championships in September
